Camp Code of Conduct

Preamble
The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to outline the limits of conduct considered in agreement
with the goals and the well-being of the Camp community, and to define the procedures to be
followed when students fail to meet the accepted standards of behaviour.

Campers have a responsibility to familiarize themselves with the Camp rules and regulations and
to conduct themselves accordingly while attending the Georgina Paintball Camp.

The Camp reserves the right to take necessary and appropriate action to protect the safety, and
welfare of the Camp and its staff.

When Camp rules and regulations are violated the responsibility and final decisions regarding
possible disciplinary action rests with the Director of Georgina Paintball Camp.

Scope
This code applies to unacceptable conduct by campers while on Georgina Paintball premises.
Campers are expected to be responsible for their actions whether acting individually or in a group.

Georgina Paintball Camp reserves the right to take necessary and appropriate action to protect the
safety and welfare of the camp. This may include taking necessary and appropriate action in cases
where a Camper is accused of serious conduct.

Codes of Conduct apply to:

(a) human rights offences (including sexual harassment and discrimination)
(b) dishonesty
(c) discipline issues in regards to recognition of authority

Procedure for Handling Misconduct

The preferred method for resolving misconduct is through informal resolution, especially with minor
offences. More serious misconduct can result in suspension from participation without financial
remuneration. Misconduct of the most serious nature will result in immediate dismissal from the
program, and if warranted the contacting of the relevant authorities.

The primary objective of this Code is not to be punitive but rather to be a guideline for appropriate
behaviour in an educational environment.

Dress Code & Use of Profanity

Campers are to refrain from excessive use of profanity.
Campers are expected to refrain from wearing inappropriate attire, or in a manner that would
compromise the safety of the individual or of others around them, as designated by the Camp staff
