To whom it may concern,

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Manuel Vazquez. Having known
Manuel for the last 3 1/2 years, it is easy for me to brag about the young, strong man that he’s become.
I’ve literally watched him mature into someone who is driven, hard-working and kind. He is the sort of
person who invests the time into helping others succeed even when it’s detrimental to his needs.

Having had him in my program for 3 1/2 years, I have also witnessed his leadership skills flourish. He is a
dynamic leader who is empathic to his subordinates and his peers and always strives to be the best in
whatever capacity that he is assigned. He leads from the front and has been able to inspire and
motivate the cadets that he’s been responsible to lead.

He’s very actively engaged in the community and has spent countless hours volunteering for his church
in programs to help others. He’s also participated in numerous drill competitions throughout the
Southern California area which continually displayed the program and Carson High school in great light.

Manuel will do great in whatever career field he chooses to pursue. I look forward to seeing the
accomplishments that will shortly follow as he blazes his trail in the adult world. Please feel free to
