EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 04

RE-ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER COMMITTEE (BPOC) IN BARANGAY CATUMSAN,
ARTECHE, EASTERN SAMAR, PROVIDING THEIR COMPOSITION AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

WHERAS, section 116 of the Republic Act 7160 (Organization of Local Peace and Order Council)
otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 states that “Every province, city and
municipality shall establish a local peace and order council, pursuant to Executive Order No. 309, as
amended, series 1988;

WHERAS, section 2 of Executive Order 366, Creation of Barangay Peace and Order Committee
states that “Every barangay shall organize a Peace and Order Committee to serve as the implementing
arm of the City/Municipality Peace and Order Council at the Barangay level;

WHEREAS, there is a need to enhance the effectiveness of the Barangay Peace and Order
Committee (BPOC) in its crime prevention and suppression mission through the re-organization and
extension of its infrastructure down to the purok level;

WHEREAS, the establishment of a Barangay Peace and Order organization at the purok level was
recommended by the PNP Personnel during our BNEO and BADAC seminars;

NOW THEREFORE, I HON. MARIO D. ELLADO., Punong Barangay of Barangay Catumsan, Arteche,
Eastern Samar, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order the following:

SECTION 1. Reconstitution of the Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC) with the
following composition:

Chairperson : HON. MARIO D. ELLADO - Punong Barangay

Vice-Chairperson : HON. GILBERT P. BEATO, Kagawad, Chair-Peace and Order and Safety
Members : HON. ENRICO NUGUIT JR. - SK Chairperson
MR. CESAR TEBERIO - Lupon Tagapamayapa
MR. JOELOU MECONO - Chief Tanod
MR. REY MORALLOS - CIS, Principal
MRS. NECITAS D. MADEJA, Interfaith representative
MR. CARLITO CHUA, PWD representative
PSSg RAMIL TEÑOSO- PCR PNCO, Arteche PNP

SECTION 2. Repealing Clause – All previous executive orders and/or issuances inconsistent
herewith and deemed repealed and/or modified accordingly.

SECTION 3. Effectivity – This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
