Course objectives and learning outcomes


Objectives
• To develop a systematic understanding of environmental challenges
confronting the world
• Comprehend processes involved in environmental management including
popular policy options
• Understand basic concepts in economics and apply these to environmental
problems and solutions
Learning outcomes
• Better understanding of the overall situation and nature of environmental
challenges including major causal factors
• How to deal with environmental challenges and mitigate harmful effects
through policy and innovation
• an understanding of possible solutions to improve the environmental
including through the change and transformation of behaviours and beliefs
