To the Potlatch School District Board of Trustees,
Please accept this letter as my formal resignation as Superintendent for the
Potlatch School District #285. This would be effective on July 1, 2021. I have said to many people at many different times that I would like to complete my educational career here in the Potlatch School District and so, at this time, this point has been reached. After forty years in Education and Education-related fields, it is time for me to move into the retirement portion of my life, which I am ready for and looking forward to beginning. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to have been the superintendent for the last ten years for this school district. I hope that you feel that I have served the students, parents, community, and yourselves well in that time. We have accomplished many wonderful things during these past ten years and have continued to positively grow as a district. I’m sure that my successor, whomever she or he may be, will continue moving these successes forward and strive to always improve. Thank you so very much!
