guitar, piano, or any instrument
that you are comfortable
playing.
With a pre-approved partner,
perform a duet. This can be
performed acapella (without
accompaniment) or sung to a
karaoke track. This song can be
original or pre-existing.
PLAYING
Play a song of your choosing on
an instrument of your choice.
Write an original song and play
it using the instrument of your
choice.
With a pre-approved partner,
perform a duet where one
student plays/sings melody and
the other plays and
accompaniment. This song can
be original or pre-existing.
CREATING
Using a music creating software
of your choice (bandlab, garage
band etc.). Create a short piece
that contains at least four
instruments and a vocal line.

Using a music notation
software, compose your own
song with at least one
instrument and one vocal line.
Find free music notation
software here.
Using music notation software,
compose your own song. Once
finished, perform the song
either on an instrument or by
singing. Film this performance
and submit it to Canvas.
