Our mission at Huxley is to be leaders in automation and smart manufacturing. We 

are goal setters who strive for the next great advancement in technology.

FIRST DAY
1. Get your ID badge and parking pass from Clarke in HR (Third floor, Room 310)
2. At 8:30 AM, meet your mentor Max Kingston (First Floor, Room 113) for a tour
3. Observe daily meeting, 10:00 AM Conference Room (First Floor, Room 103)
4. After the meeting, seek out Silas Hoffstaetter (First Floor, Room 102) for your
first assigned project.
5. Set up your computer with Sarah or Jorge from IT (Second Floor, Room 215)

DAILY WORK
-Help meet team goals and work on your project.
-The work day begins at 8:00 and ends at 4:00.
-Every day at the same time in the Conference Room there’s a meeting i.e.“Daily
Scrum”. In the meeting we ask three questions.
● What did you do yesterday to help meet the team’s goals?
● What will you do today to meet team goals?
● What immediate challenges might prevent you from reaching goals?

TEAM GOALS
-Continue supporting the HA2000, the robotic welder.
-Develop the “Cobot”. A collaborative robot that can function safely and effectively in an
industrial setting alongside human factory workers.

COMMUNICATION
Slack is used for daily coordination in conjunction with GitHub. Go to your mentor for
invitations and for a Slack tour if you need one.

If any other access is needed, go to Sarah or Jorge in IT.

MISCELLANEOUS
Dress code is business casual.
Please do not smoke on company property.
