OUTLINE:
Causes: + Exploit natural resources: get material, but ignore protection/ do not
recover.
SAMPLE:
Saving the beauty of nature has long been viewed as the top-ranking target of
nations but due to the increasing productions of goods, our surrounding
environment is destroyed seriously. In this essay, the major causes and
feasible solutions will be addressed.
It is noteworthy that there are many reasons resulting in this situation. Firstly, it
is generally believed that exploiting the natural resources excessively seems
to be the root cause of this damage. This means that when getting raw
materials from the nature at all costs, companies are willing to cut down trees
to get wood but they may neglect/ ignore how to exploit and recover them
sustainably. Sooner or later, they will make these resources be exhausted.
Besides, another reason leading to pollution is the rising waste from factories.
In other words, the nature will be adversely impacted by the alarming increase
of untreated waste, toxic gas or harmful chemical substances directly released
from industrial activities. Consequently, pollution is unavoidable and to change
this situation, we have to take action immediately.
That leaves the question of what we can do to handle these problems. It seems
that the governments play the key role in solving this alarming situation.
Thanks to their power, they are able to issue suitable policies to strictly reduce
the polluted gas from factories, control and supervise industrial activities of
firms yearly. Besides, other practical actions should also be taken by
companies. They are capable of building waste treatment systems in their
industrial zone, using renewable energy such as solar or wind energy in their
activities and recycling old products every day. People should bear in mind
that never can we limit the detrimental effects of the rising production on our
environment without the profound cooperation of both governments and firms.
