CUSTOM
PROGRAMMES
OVERVIEW
The Custom Programmes are tailor-made programmes for the
executives drawn from a single organisation or a consortium. The
programme design is based on the requirements articulated by
the key stakeholders in the organisation. As the participants for
the programme are drawn from a single organisation, it presents
an opportunity to discuss organisation-specific challenges in an
open, transparent environment that enables deeper learning and
appreciation of the organisation’s context, opportunities and
challenges.
APPROACH
Every organisation has its unique set of business challenges and
developmental needs. We partner with our client organisations to
understand these needs and tailor solutions to address the same.
The starting point in a custom programme is the requirements study.
We engage with the senior leaders from the organisation and few
of the participants who are identified to undergo the programme, to
draw up the learning needs and objectives of the programmes. The
detailed design flows from the learning needs analysis.
The various aspects of the custom programme – the conceptual
frameworks, business cases, Action Learning Projects (ALPs),
assignments, group exercises, role-plays, project work, business
simulation games, practitioner/expert/industry connects, pre-dinner
talks and social events – are tailored to enhance the learning process,
while leveraging the overall capability of the Institute for delivery.
A certificate of participation will be awarded by IIMB to participants
on successful completion of the programme.
DURATION
The custom programmes are delivered in varied duration and formats
– 3 days to 40 days, single-phase or multi-phase programmes.
The custom programmes can be delivered as a combination of on-
campus and online sessions (blended programmes). They are also
offered as learning phases within India and overseas, in partnership
with an accredited international school.

The Long Duration certificate programmes have been planned as
in-person programmes or a combination of in-person and online
delivery programmes. However, due to circumstances outside the
control of IIMB such as acts of God, war, terrorist attacks, riots,
civil disturbance, earthquake, explosion, floods, Government order/
intervention, epidemic/pandemic or any other circumstances
beyond the control of IIMB, IIMB may change the in-person mode of
delivery to online or hybrid modes of delivery. Hybrid delivery implies
that a part of the cohort is physically present in the classroom while
the remaining students participate in the course virtually. Keeping
in mind the circumstances that may prevail from time to time, IIMB
reserves the right to modify the in-person mode of delivery to online
or hybrid mode of delivery as the need arises.
