Nia Houston –

I appreciate your reaching out to request the creation of a tuition-reimbursement

program. I commend your efforts towards attaining a graduate degree while
working full time, as I know the dedication such an undertaking requires. As the
director of Human Resources, I serve as a link between our organization’s
management and our employees – I welcome, encourage, and value all input
received from the staff here at Regional One.

Benefit programs like tuition-reimbursement are costly. Allocating a portion of our

resources to such a program would require us to cut back on other employee perks,
including social functions, wellness programs, and employee recognition
programs. Our leadership team believes these benefits are more widely applicable
to our staff and contribute to our company culture. In alignment with our
company’s current financial capabilities and business goals, we plan on keeping
our present employee benefits package.

Regional One Credit Union appreciates the value you add to our company. We
recognize your hard work and hope to support your educational endeavors through
other means. Our company has a considerable scholarship program for deserving
employees, like yourself, who are completing a graduate degree and working full
time simultaneously. I suggest you look into applying for such opportunities,
which are available at www.RegionalOneCUScholarships.org. Regional One also
offers managers annual bonuses based on performance.

Your dedication is evident – keep up the hard work!

Kind regards,
Abigail Schultz
