Final Project

Discussion:
As you change jobs/work environments you may try to implement your current instructional
strategies in the [new] environment. Most times this does not work. During those times, you will
have to re-model your instructional views and create new models and strategies so that you can
instruct to the best of your ability. This assignment uses this scenario as its basis and requires
you to work with your teammates to combine your work environments and thus create a new
instructional model that will work with the merged environments.

Instructions and Requirements:


You are required to use the individual models you created and combine them as if your
institutions were merged. The merged institution will have a new name and thus a new
instructional model. You will use the descriptions of your individual work environments
(Assignment 3) and your individual instructional models and combine them to create a new
instructional model. Your final instructional model should be detailed in a 10-page paper
(excluding Appendices) as follows:
1. Abstract
2. Instructional Environments - Here you will include
a. The descriptions of each team members instructional/work environments
b. Differences between each instructional/work environment
c. Similarities between each instructional/work environment
d. Any noted instructional strategies that are common or different between the
environments
3. Your new combined instructional model
a. Description of the new model
b. Justification for the design
c. Instructional strategies that will be afforded in the new model
d. Discrepancy Analysis – difference between the new model and the other
individual models
4. Conclusions
5. Appendices
a. Reflections on the process - Each team member should include their own
reflection
b. Team journal – Each team member must include what they did for the project

Your project depends on each member of your project team completing Assignment 3.

Submission:
Each team member will submit the following (see deadlines in course schedule).
1. a mid-project peer review evaluation to the Peer Review Dropbox and
2. an end-of-project peer review evaluation to the Peer Review Dropbox

Your team lead must submit
a. the link to the final project uploaded to a website in the Project area in
the course environment

Note: Each team member need not submit the assignment; one copy is sufficient.
You are to submit the link to the assignment you uploaded to a website in the Project
area in the course environment.
