Julian Jernigan has over twenty years of experience in education, bringing an engaging and fresh perspective to training and
curriculum for face-to-face, blended, or fully virtual modalities. He is experienced in utilizing full video and audio production
methods to engineer a truly immersive learning environment. He has specialized in the fine arts sector over the last decade,
revolutionizing the breadth of arts education and its accessibility to many new learners. He has been recruited by the Georgia
Department of Education to revamp arts standards, improve course of study, and develop full year online resources for new
teachers statewide.

Savannah Arts Academy 2011-Present
• Course of Study for in person and e-learning progression to fortify the strength, ability, and desirability of graduates.
(Students currently placed on scholarship at, Julliard, Marymount Manhattan, Pace College, Point Park, University of the
Arts, NYU Tisch, New World School of the Arts, Ohio State University, University of South Carolina, SUNY-Purchase,
and current company members in Ballet Hispanico, and Ballet Austin.)
• High School courses designed and taught: Ballet I-V, Contemporary Dance I-IV, Classical/Contemporary Partnering I-IV,
Dance Production I-IV, Dance Composition, and Performance Ensemble. Revamped
• Responsibilities: Design and deliver blended (face-to-face and online) for students grade 9-12. Create and Manage Class
Repository for instructional submission protocol.
