FIRST QUARTER
My dear students, today, you and your classmates will begin a new week of distance learning, We are all physically away from each
other but do not think that you are alone in this learning journey, There are other students learning with you too, And also I will
closely guide and assist you in your lessons. Please be guided of the following:
 This study guide will help you with the flow of the activity and the lesson
 Answer the activities on a separate sheet of paper, (Do not write anything on your module)
 Compile all your answer sheets at the end of the week and submit it on the given
scheduled.

Start up! Read and comprehend the Introduction (I) part of the PIVOT 4A Learners’ Material
1 page 18.

Read and study the concept in the Science Worktext about incomplete dominance and codominance. After
reading, answer the first question, write it on your answer sheet (yellow paper):
2 How will you describe the heterozygous individual in incomplete dominance? in codominance?

On Learning Task 1 page 19 of Grade 9 Science Module, study the diagram of the snapdragons
and identify the genetic traits of flower color that do not follow Mendel’s Law of Dominance.
3 Answer the guide questions on your yellow paper.

Answer Learning Task 2 page 20 of Grade 9 Science Module. Complete the Punnett square and
4 analyze the result by answering the guide questions on your answer sheet.

Answer Sketch Notes questions Letter A on “Incomplete Dominance and Codominance”. Write
5 your answers directly on the sketch note.

On the lecture part of your notebook, write the important points of the lesson about
6 Incomplete Dominance and Codominance.
