PSYCHO-1

PSYCHO-1 is an unconventional zine

with all of its contents focusing on the
topic of “psycho,” including reviews
of a psycho-themed donut shop, an
article about Hitchcock’s film Psycho
and a translation of Post Malone’s
Psycho lyrics from rapper language
to English. The expressive visual
typography I created connects the
entire booklet all together. The interior
pages are designed for riso-printing.

My Museum Series contains works for

two conceptual museum exhibitions.
The Museum of Cereals offers a rare
opportunity for its visitors to taste
test expired cereals from the 1930s.
The Smithsonian Archives displays its
collection of fine rings from different
regions and their cultural signifi-
cances to jewelry lovers. I aimed at
creating playful and coherent graphic
languages for these two exhibitions.

The “Dark Mode?” project was

inspired by the argument between
light/dark mode. The idea was to
transform the experience of scrolling
down a long webpage into printed
mediums. My documentation includes
a photoshopped image of Shaq
holding it, authentic screenshots of
chat history between me and fake Kim
Kardashian in both light & dark mode
and also myself holding the reference
link page.

Taking photos is a great passion of mine. I love capturing random moments of beautiful
repetitions and contrasts and collect them as pieces of memories, especially when I’m
exploring different parts of the city during pandemic time.
