PROGRAMME TITLE: M.A.IN YOGA
OBJECTIVES:

The broad objectives of the M.A.IN YOGA programme are as follows:

  M.A. in Yoga degree holder can become Yoga therapist.
  They can treat & cure sick people with Yoga Therapy.
  They can run their own Yoga center for earning bread & butter.
  They can become a Yoga Instructor/ Yoga Teacher in any school/institute.
  They can write & publish their research papers in Yoga Journals.
 They can enroll for Ph.D. in Yoga.

ELIGIBILITY:
Any Bachelor degree with at least 45% marks in aggregate and One year yoga Diploma
from a recognized University / Institute.

AGE LIMIT:
As per State Govt. rules no age limit for admission in the programme.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
The admissions will be done as per merit in qualifying exam.

SEATS: 50 (reservation as per state Govt. rules).

DURATION: Four Semesters (Two Years).

 Caution money (Refundable) of Rs. 4000/- will be charged additionally in the first
 semester.
 Alumni fee of Rs. 500 will be charged separately in the first semester.

 If a student repeats a paper(s) in a semester, an additional fee of Rs.500/- per paper

 shall be payable.
 Hostel Fee and Central Library Fee will be extra.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES:
  Developing therapeutically concept for curing various diseases through yoga.
  Getting opportunities of higher studies for UGC NET, PhD, and yogic research.
 Getting proper guidance for conducting classes in yoga studios ,fitness centers
,hospitals etc

PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES:

 Getting proper knowledge how to conduct traditional classes, classical yoga classes,
 scientific & therapeutically sessions (over various diseases).
  Teach to conduct workshop in corporate sector, school, medical institutes, societies etc.
  Teach to conduct workshop of stress management through yoga
 Teach to manage psychosomatic disorders through yoga.
