Elly Lee is an outstanding young woman. I’ve had the privilege of teaching Elly in my history classes for 2 years, and I am
very impressed with her incredible character and work ethic. Elly always goes the extra mile on every assignment and
project that she works on. The detail and historical accuracy she displayed in her 1920’s Cultural Project this year, and in
her Renaissance Fold-A-Book quiz project last year, stand out in my mind as excellent examples of her desire to do her
best and learn all she can! The quality of learning in my class is greatly impacted by her positive attitude and desire to
truly learn. She routinely sets an amazing example for her classmates and encourages them to try harder and reach for
more. It is always a pleasure to grade Elly’s work, because of the high level of content comprehension and impressive
historical insight that she includes and expects of herself in all she does.

Elly is very active, involved, and accomplished, as she excels academically, serves in many clubs at RHS, and is very
involved in the community. She maintains an impressive 3.98 GPA, and has consistently earned Honor Roll recognition.
During her 9th grade year, she was awarded the OHMS Fine Arts Award of Excellence. Here at RHS, Elly has been a 2 time
DECA Nationals qualifier, she has earned 1st place awards in Region and State for DECA, and she is Video Production
certified by the State of Utah! Elly is very involved with clubs here at RHS! Elly has served for 2 years as a member of
Riverton Kindness Crew, as a member of BAM (DECA/FBLA), as a member of the Superfan Club, and as a member of
Stage Crew. She has also served for 1 year as a member of HOSA, a member of Riverton Interact Club, and as a member
of SkillsUSA. Elly has incredible leadership experience, which includes serving as an officer and editor for her Middle
School Lit Magazine and as an officer on her OHMS Dance Company. Here at Riverton High School, Elly has continued
her leadership roles, including serving as the President of RHS BAM (DECA/FBLA). She also currently serves as VP of
Activities in the Riverton Kindness Crew (the club that I am an advisor for). I was very impressed and grateful for an
awesome activity that Elly organized and led for our Riverton Kindness Crew earlier this year, where she contacted
Operation Gratitude and coordinated RKC’s efforts to write and send letters and cards of support to Veterans, deployed
troops, and wounded heroes of the United States Military! Elly has also served as a SliverScreen producer and team
member, served as the RHS School Store/Pack Shack Manager, and as the Stage Manager in RHS Stage Crew!

Elly is also very involved in the Community, highlighted by her involvement with Riverton City, where she served for 2
years as a Board member on the Riverton Youth Arts Council (until they disbanded mid 2020 with the pandemic), and
she currently serves as a Board member on the Riverton City Youth Council! Elly currently serves as a volunteer with the
OHMS Arts program since last year, and she is the Shift Lead at Crumble Cookies in Riverton!

Elly has been able to excel in many areas of her life, find ways to serve her school and community, and is a great
example of a leader and a valuable team member! Elly communicates well, is a team player, works hard, has high moral
character, is independently motivated, and seeks to excel and serve others at all times! I highly recommend Elly Lee for
serious consideration for all leadership opportunities! Elly has proved that she can accomplish anything that she puts her
mind to, and her incredible positive attitude is evident in everything that she does. Elly will represent herself well in all
leadership opportunities and will bring honor if selected to serve as an SBO!

I highly recommend Elly Lee for all leadership roles in student government that she is being considered for!
