I have told myself these when i was asked about god's salvation on St.

Paul's
conversion:

Look at yourself. Look at where you are today. Look at this place that embraces you in a
second home. Look at all these people that surround you. Look at the identity that you
have today.

In his early life, St. Paul took part in the persecution of Christians. He saw the teachings
of Jesus which he perceives a major threat to Judaism. But what people might not
believe after all that has happened he was converted into Christianity. You see, after all
he that had done to God’s people, to the humankind; he established faith within himself
and carried it to write the teachings and to reach out people by being a missionary.

In his early life, he had made mistakes just like how people create mistakes because of
the reason that we are not perfect. As cliché as it may sound, there’s really no one that
is perfect except God almighty, of course. Good people sometimes make bad decisions
in life. We mess up and let other people down. But that doesn’t make us bad people. It
doesn’t define who and what we are. Oftentimes, we might be just like St. Paul.

As a student who have been in OLPS for 14 years long, it still doesn’t mean that I’m
completely holy or an expertise in Christian living education already. No. I still have a lot
of things to understand and to learn. And for me, I am meant to be a Paulinian. From
the time when my mom decided to transfer my sister and I in 2006 up to now, I believe I
am meant to be here. With that, I also think I was somehow converted because in
learning what Paul taught, I have my catholic values intact.

Now that I have almost completed all levels, from kindergarten from what I am now
today, I may not become what other people want me to become, like having straight
A’s, it still doesn’t matter. What matters most is my long lasting faith in God that was
honed through St. Paul.

St. Paul’s teachings signify the salvation of God. His teachings greatly influence us
Christians. He helped us on what we should do and on what we should not do. Lastly,
we must always remember that our salvation is not based on just because of our
religion but it is with the faith that we have within ourselves because faith is to believe
even if you don’t see.
