စာသင္ခန္းသံ ု း အဂၤလိပ္စကား နဲ႔ ပတ္သက္ၿပီး ယခု ေရးေနတဲ့ စာစု မ်ားသည္ မူ လတန္းအဆင့္ အဂၤလိပ္စာ
ဆရာ/ ဆရာမ မ်ား အထူ းသျဖင့္ အဂၤလိပ္ဘာသာစကားကို Classroom Language အျဖစ္အသံ ု းျပဳၿပီး သင္ၾကားမ
ယ့္ ဆရာ/ ဆရာမ မ်ားအတြက္ အဓိက ရည္ရြယ္ပါတယ္။ ဒီတစ္ပတ္မွာ စာဖတ္ျခင္း နဲ႔ ဇာတ္လမ္းတု ိေလးေတြ
ေျပာတဲ့ အေၾကာင္းကို ဆက္လိုက္ရေအာင္ပါ။

ကေလးေတြဟာ ဇတ္လမ္းတို / ပံ ု ျပင္ေလးေတြကို ခ်စ္ျမတ္ႏို းၾကပါတယ္။ သူ ေတြေတြဟာ …

- အၿမဲတမ္းပဲ ဇတ္လမ္းတို / ပံ ု ျပင္ေတြ နားေထာင္ဖို႔ စိတ္အ ား ထက္သန္ၾကပါတယ္။
- ဘယ္လို ဇတ္လမ္းေတြ ျဖစ္မလဲ ဆို တာကို သိနားလည္ခ်င္ၾကပါတယ္။
- အဂၤလိပ္ဘာသာစကားကို ေလ့ လာၾကတဲ့ အခါ အဂၤလိပ္ ပံ ု ျပင္ / ဇတ္လမ္းတို ေတြ ကို လည္း နားေထာင္ခ်
င္ၾကပါတယ္။
- သူ တို ႔ကို တို င္ ပံ ု ျပင္ / ဇတ္လမ္္းတို စာအု ပ္ေလးေတြကို ဖတ္ရတာ ႀကိဳက္ႏွစ္သစ္ၾကပါတယ္။
- သူ တို ႔ အဂၤလိပ္လို ဖတ္ႏု ိ္င လာတဲ့ အခါလည္း အဂၤလိပ္ ပံ ု ျပင္ / ဇတ္လမ္းတို ေလးေတြကို ကို ္ယ္တုိင္ ဖ
တ္ရႈခ်င္ၾကပါတယ္။

ပံ ု ျပင္ေတြကို
- ကေလးေတြ ပို မို နားလည္ေအာင္ အမူ အယာ သု ိ႔မဟု တ္ ရု ပ္ပုံကားခ်ပ္ေတြနဲ႔ ေျပာျပႏု ိင္ပါတယ္။
- ကေလးေတြ အဂၤလိပ္စာေလ့ လာတဲ့ အခါ ပို မို ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ေစဖို ႔ ကူ ညီေပးႏု ိင္ပါတယ္။
- ကေလးေတြ ဘာသာစကားနဲ႔ ပု ိၿပီးေတာ့ အကၽြမ္းတဝင္ျဖစ္ေအာင္ ကူ ညီေပးႏု ိင္ပါတယ္။
- ဘာသာစကားရဲ႕ သေဘာတရားကို လည္း ပို ၿပီးေတာ့ သတိထားမိလာေစႏို င္ပါတယ္။
- ပံ ု ျပင္ေတြ နားေထာင္ျခင္းျဖင့္ ကေလးေတြက အသံ ထြက္ နဲ႔ အသံ အနိမ့္အျမင့္ စတဲ့
ဘာသာစကား သေဘာတရားေတြကို ပို မို ရင္းႏွီးကၽြမ္းဝင္လာေစပါတယ္။
- Listening ကေန speaking, reading နဲ႔ writing အထိ ဘာသာစကားစြမ္းရည္ တို းတက္လာေစပါတယ္။

Telling a story after preparation

TEACHER: I'm going to tell you a story about two animals. Look.
The animals are ...
(The teacher puts up the two pictures on the blackboard and points as she speaks.)
TEACHER AND CHILDREN: (together)
A bird and ...
TEACHER: ... And an elephant.
CHILDREN: {All shout) A fox!
TEACHER: No .. . It's an elephant!
CHILDREN: ... a fox!
TEACHER: It's a fox. I'm going to tell you a story about a bird and a fox.
(As the teacher tells the story. She points to the cards.)
TEACHER: A fox saw a bird eating some cheese.
(The teacher shows the children the pretend piece of cheese.)
And the fox said, 'Hey you, give me your cheese.

I like cheese and I'm really hungry.'

The bird said, 'No, you can't have my cheese.'
And the fox said, 'Can you fly, bird?'
And the bird said 'Yes I can fly.'
'So fly down here to me and give me your cheese.'
And the bird said, 'Look I can fly but you can't have my cheese.'
And the fox said, 'Can you sing, bird?'
And the bird said, 'Yes, I can sing.
Listen to my song'
And the bird ...
(Here the teacher gestures with her hand to show that the bird opens his mouth and that cheese falls to
the ground.)
... and says 'Oh no, my cheese!'
And the fox said, 'Ha, ha, ha .. .
Now I've got your cheese. It's my
favourite ... mmmm.'
