 Important News
 BICYCLE REGISTRATION NOW MANDATORY for all bikes
stored within the CVII bike storage rooms: Because of
increased bike thefts in CVII, registration with Arlington
County will be required beginning May 1st.
 Registration will increase your bike’s protection.
 Unregistered bikes will be removed from bike storage
rooms. *More info and details to come.

 BUILDING SECURITY: Electronic door locks for building
entries have been approved. The Board currently is
considering:
1) Number of key fobs to be provided to each unit
2) Cost for additional fobs per unit
3) Locked times for the doors (Locked 24hrs vs.
limited open access)

 INVENTORY OF STORAGE BINS: Please ensure that you are
using the correct storage bin, as there may be a
discrepancy between the bin you are using and the bin
assigned to you. If you have not returned your
storage bin confirmation form, contact Management
immediately.

Upcoming & Current Projects
 Hallway Redesign: A sample hallway is
painted! Stop by the Meeting Room foyer
and check it out! The color was selected by
popular vote of attendees at the annual
board meeting in Oct. (*Carpet sample not
installed.) If proposed colors work, then look
forward to updated foyers across the
property in May/June 2011.
 Drainage Project: Complete! A
comprehensive drainage project was
undertaken to address major water incursion
issues in all of the below-grade areas. The
project redirected water away from roofs,
buildings, and grounds.
 Landscaping: The Landscape Committee
is in the process of developing a 5-year
beautification plan with our new grounds
contractor, Ruppert Landscape. Exciting
changes are on the way!
 Tuck Pointing: This 5-year project to repair
the mortar between exterior bricks in CVII’s
buildings will resume in July/August for those
buildings along Key Blvd.
 Arlington County Road Re-Striping: This
project commenced in September 2010 and
is expected to continue in the spring.
Management will post notices once the
County provides a date when the roads will
be re-striped so that residents will have
sufficient time to relocate their vehicles if
necessary.

 Bulk Trash: Bulk trash is collected on the 1st of
every month at curbside. (Please see notices
inside the trash rooms.) Management has been
very successful determining which residents have
discarded bulk items in laundry hallways or
storage/trash rooms and will continue to assess
bulk removal fees to unit owners.
 Condo Fee Payments: Consider mailing your
condo fees rather than dropping them off at the
management office. Did you know that additional
processing fees are charged to your Association
for payments not sent to the Legum & Norman
P.O. Box established for collecting fees?
 Storage Room Etiquette: Management is
organizing and clearing out all storage rooms.
All items must fit inside your bin. Any items
outside or on top of your bin may be removed by
Management at any time.
