Job Title: Analyst / Sr Analyst / Consultant


Function: Forensic (Integrity Due Diligence)
Location: Gurgaon/ Mumbai, India
>> Overview

PwC Forensic practice endeavors to provide an independent, proactive and responsive service, together
with credible results by effectively utilizing its investigative, IT, accounting, financial and various other
resources towards the detection and investigation of alleged fraud and in resolving commercial and legal
disputes and conducting proactive integrity diligence. It emphasizes on the need for progress, flexibility
and quality along with providing credible evidence to help companies make informed decisions.

The Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) Service at PwC is part of Forensic practice. The IDD Service assists the
clients to identify potential risks by highlighting issues of concern that may cause potential reputation or
financial damage to clients while they deal with various counter-parties (vendors, suppliers, partners,
customers, employees etc.) or plan to invest/ do JV with a proposed business partners. It seeks to assist
clients in mitigating risk arising from association with a third party which could be engaged in unethical
or illegal practices. It can also be used by client to mitigate regulatory risk e.g. Anti-money Laundering,
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act compliance.

IDD Services helps uncover potential business problems and collect vital information which puts clients in
a better position to make enlightened decisions on

 Investing in a business
 Recruiting new dealers suppliers, franchisees or distributors
 Licensing its product or services to another company
 Establishing a strategic alliance or joint venture partnership
 Acquiring or merging with another business
 Appointing senior management

>> Role & Responsibilities

 Conducting English-language research using a variety of online sources, especially commercial


registries and corporate databases, legal databases and media sources;
 Responsible for writing and reviewing reports and ensure on time delivery;
 Coach, help and support junior analysts;
 Proactively seek opportunities for PwC to capitalize on and adapt business strategies in response to
changing business needs.

>> Requirements
 Masters’ degree (Management, Finance, International Relations, Political Science, Economics,
History, Intelligence and/or Law);
 Excellent command over English-language (written and spoken);
 Research experience of 0 to 5 years with through knowledge of English research sources of company
and individual research. Experience with research, risk management and banking industry would be
preferred.
 Experience in conducting research online or through open sources;
 Attention to detail, excellent research, analytical and report writing skills are essential;
