Learning Journey into Leadership

for Young Changemakers


Program setup & time requirement
You will need at least 60 hours to complete the whole learning journey: 20 hours to attend the
facilitated Zoom sessions online and 40 hours for group work and individual reflection.
There are 4 steps:

1. On-boarding:
Between 1st and 17 April 2021, 1 hour Zoom session (in groups of 5 to 10 participants)
2. Taking off – sowing the seeds, introducing basic leadership attitudes and tools:
Monday 19 April to Friday 30 April 2021, 10 hours of Zoom sessions (4 hours in plenary and 6 in regional groups)
3. Mid-term review – measuring each participant’s progress and answering personal questions:
1 hour of individual coaching, between June and September
4. Landing – harvesting the fruits and exchanging good practices and experiences:
Monday 11 to Friday 15 October, 8 hours of Zoom (2 in plenary and 6 in regional groups)

 Make sure you will be available to attend all the plenary Zoom sessions, which will always be on
Mondays and Fridays from 13:00 to 14:00 (UTC), as well as at least 80% of the regional group
sessions (some will be recorded and made available to those who cannot attend).

 The regional group sessions will be held taking into account the different time zones participants
are living in.

 The 40 hours of group work and individual reflection must be done during the dates mentioned
above, but at a time of the day that is convenient for you.

 Participants will be stimulated to continue the exchange with their peers, at their own pace and in
a self-regulated manner, between the taking off and the landing sessions.

 At the end of the learning journey, you will need to dedicate 1 or 2 hours to write a short learning
report and a transfer evaluation.
