Documents Created Using Word Processing Software

Word processing programs have made it easier to create documents that were
previously inconvenient to do using a typewriter. Some documents include but not
limited to:

Minutes of a meeting. This document is a written record of a meeting. It contains

when and where the meeting took place. The time that the meeting started and
adjourned is also stated. The participants of the meeting, which may include some
personal information, is written or may be attached in a separate attendance sheet.
Of course, the meeting agenda is included as well as the discussions and motions
made within the meeting. The minutes of a meeting has line numbers printed on the
left portion of the margin so that it can be reviewed conveniently by the participants
of the meeting.

Flyers. These are usually just one-page documents used for advertisement. This
way, distribution to a wide group of people is done in a short period of time. Flyers
may be used for advertising events and products, promoting businesses, persuading
people about a social, religious, or political message, or recruiting members for
organizations or companies.

Brochures. These informative paper documents are often also used for advertising
and can be folded or can be a set of related unfolded papers put into a pocket folder
or packet. They usually contain advertisements to introduce a company,
organization, products or services and inform prospective customers or members of
the public of the benefits.
