A BIG “THANK YOU”!
• Thank you to John Stahl. John constructed and crafted a
new oak table for St. James Place. The oak boards donated
by John were cut from trees that John had harvested on his
farm.
• Thank you to the CCW for the beautiful altar Easter lilies and
tulips.
• Thank you to everyone who purchased cookies for the
St. John’s Easter Cutout Cookie Fundraiser (240 dozen
cookies were made). The money raised goes toward
Wisconsin’s Original Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in
Endeavor. Christmas cutout cookies will be made in
December…. watch the bulletin for ordering information.
MAGNUM OPUS BALLET PERFORMANCES
• On Sunday, April 18th at the 9:30 AM Mass at St. James,
the theme will be “Lord of the Dance” featuring a dramatic
reading of John Shea’s “Lord of the Dance” poem and a
special Magnum Opus ballet presentation of the hymn
“Lord of the Dance” choreographed by Artistic Director
Abigail Henninger.
• On Sunday, May 2nd, at 1:00 PM, the Ballet Company,
Magnum Opus will perform Ripples of Joy at St. James
Place in Neshkoro. Come and experience this spring ballet
of peace, hope, and love! Enjoy brand new work from our
Artistic Director, Abigail Henninger, as well as guest
choreographer, Glorielle Noel Niedfeldt. Allow the message
of the movement to ripple into joy in your life.
It is a pretty short show, just 1 act lasting about 45 minutes.
Therefore, ticket prices are reduced: $5 for children 18 and
under, $10 for adults, and $8 for senior citizens 65 and up.
Tickets will soon be available through the Magnum Opus
Website www.magnumopusballet.org or at St. James and
St. John’s parish offices.
MEN’S RETREAT
St. James Parish is planning to participate on Saturday,
April 24 (starting at 1:00 PM), in a statewide Men’s Retreat.
Recorded messages by all Wisconsin bishops on the subject of
charity will be presented at St. James Place, followed by
Confessions at approximately 3:00 PM, and Mass at 4:00 PM.

by Friday, April 16. We need a minimum of 15 people in
attendance. In keeping with the rules for gatherings, masks and
social distancing will be required.
SCHOLARSHIP FOR ST. JAMES PARISH CHILDREN
St. James Parish offers tuition scholarships for 5K-8 at
All Saints Catholic School in Berlin and 50% tuition coverage for
Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh for all active, contributing
members of St. James Parish. A signed agreement is required
and assistance is available for up to 7 students at this time
pending yearly policy review.

NESHKORO COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE
APRIL 28, 2021 (Wednesday) - 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Basement of the Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro
On Wednesday, April 28, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM, a
blood drive is scheduled in the basement of the Zion Lutheran
Church in Neshkoro.
Please contact the St. James Parish Office at
(920) 293-4211 to make your pledge to give blood during this
drive. Time slots are available, so call as soon as possible.
HELP NEEDED
Our Parish office is in need of a volunteer to work for at least
two hours one day a week (typically working from 9:00 AM to
11:00 AM). This person would answer the phone and may
perform a variety of clerical related tasks. Knowledge of
computers (especially Windows 10) and Microsoft Office
programs (such as Word and Excel) or any past secretarial
experience would be a big plus, but is not required.
This person would officially start in June. However, it would
be advantageous for this person to come into the office
periodically between now and June to shadow those working in
the office to learn the various tasks that need to be done.

CCW UPDATES
Since Stella Sedlar will be moving in June, we had a special
election of officers. Our new officers are as follows:
• Cindy LaValliere (President)
• Rosie Gulbronson (Vice President)
• Mary Klier (Secretary)
• Eunie Ripp (Treasurer)
Our next meeting will be May 4 at 12:30 PM. Our meetings
are always held the first Tuesday of each month (except
January, February, March, July and August). Please try to
attend our next meeting. It is always good to get some good
and different ideas. We are again going to give two $500
scholarships. One is for Landen Sobieski (parents are Richard
& Krista) and to Parker Reese-Grimm (parents are Peter and
Pearl). The money will be given after they have completed their
first semester in the college of their choice.
