1. ASU Remote Monitoring System

Mak ASU Remote Monitoring system is Modular Hardware integrated with ASU control panel to
monitor ASU operation / control & whereabouts from remote place through Web Enabled
application. It is an integration of GPS and GSM/GPRS based Communication module.

2. Features

- Event Based fault reporting via designated Email and Website


- Maintenance Due Notification via designated Email and Website

- Start /Stop disable control from remote place via SMS

4. ASU REMOTE MONITOR COMMANDS PROGRAMMING OVER AIR BY SMS

SMS Command Format: <><Command ID><SOD><Data><EOD>

SOD – Start of Data (Symbol #)


EOD – End of Data (Symbol *)

1) Tracking Message interval time Programming:

Command ID - 07
Data Range - 01 to 99 (Multiple of 15 Minutes), 00 - Turn off tracking message

Examples:
For programming 15 minutes interval time
Send SMS with text as “<>07#01*” to SIM Number.
For programming 60 minutes /1 hour interval time
Send SMS with text as “<>07#04*” to SIM Number.

2) ASU Start Enable (ON) / Disable (OFF):

Data Range - ON or OFF (Not case sensitive)

Following maintenance messages are sent to the designated email ids when the maintenance
period is elapsed.
If any set maintenance hours reaches less than 50hours, the following messages
Will be sent on every 24 hours.

ASU in formations can be request on demand by simply sending a SMS command
to the ASU, the following information is sent back.

6. SYSTEM PROGRAMMING

REMOTE MONITOR PROGRAMMING MODE:

To enter this mode, Press SEL Key and FAULTCLEAR Key in RUN mode. The Display
screen looks like as below,

Enter password, if password is incorrect, system display will be as below.

If password is correct, system will edit unit serial number as shown below.

ON OFF

ON:

If the remote monitor is on, the system will give the remote diagnosis data and event
capturing through Rs-232 to Remote Monitor (MWT) System.

No Fault Condition: In this condition, the remote monitor (MWT) system gets the diagnosis
data for every 5 sec through Rs-232 in Normal basis.

Fault condition: If any fault (Engine or Compressor) is occurred, the remote monitor system
gets the first fault of the unit through Rs-232 in event basis.

OFF:

If the remote monitor is off, get the RS-232 data from the CPU card and provides in the high
speed USB bus for data logging of on line and off line data.

See the “on line” and “off line ” data in PC (personal Computer).
After selecting remote monitor On/Off, Remote Monitor programming will be over, the
screen as shown below,

Note: i). Using DIGITSEL, PAGEUP/INC key, required value could be programmed.
Once done, Press SET/ MENU key to store entered data.

ii). If press FAULT CLEAR before Remote Monitor program completion,


System will enter Normal display with updated data up to last entry.

Now press PAGEUP key to increment the value and press SEL key to select the Digit. After entering
the correct password Press SET/MENU.
