 1 THE ORIGIN OF ANGELS
1 Angels are created by GOD YHWH

shining dazzling white, having a pair
of wings,

Job 1:6, KJV, “Now there was a day when the sons of
God came to present themselves before the LORD, and
Satan came also among them”
2 THE DIVISION OF ANGELS 1 SERAPHIM

These are the highest order or choir of

angels. These particular angels serve as
guardians or attendants before God’s
throne.

Reference Isaiah 6:3, KJV 3 And one cried

unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is
the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his
glory.
 2 CHERUBIM
Following Seraphim in the angelic hierarchy
comes Cherubim. These angels are manlike
in appearance, double-winged and
guardians of God’s glory. In the New
Testament, they are often considered to be
celestial attendants in the Apocalypse,
referenced in in Revelation 4-6

Reference Genesis 3:24, KJV So he drove out

the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of
Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned
every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
 3 OPHANIM
They are the wheels seen in Ezekiel's vision of the
chariot (Hebrew merkabah). They are a class
of celestial beings who (along with
the Cherubim and Seraphim) never sleep, but
guard the throne of God.

 4 METATRON
"Metatron" is the name that Enoch received after his

transformation into an angel.

He is commonly described as a celestial scribe recording

the sins and merits of men, as a guardian of heavenly

secrets

 5 THRONES
The Thrones are a class of angels mentioned by the
Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:16

The Thrones are the angels of humility, peace and

submission. If the lower Choir of Angels need to access
God, they would have to do that through the Thrones

that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,

whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or

powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”

 6 VIRTUES
The Virtues (Strongholds), also called Malakhim or
Tarshishim, lie beyond the Thrones/Wheels (Ophanim)
and are the fifth ranking Order or Choir in the Second
Hierarchal Sphere of the Hierarchy of Angels and are
part of the Heavenly Governors.

They specifically preside over the elements of the

world and the process of celestial life.

1 ARCHANGEL MICHAEL

Meaning “One who is like GOD”

Title He’s the Leader of the

Armies of Heaven

Role: To Fight for the Saints

Reference Revelation 12:7

And there was war in heaven: Michael

and his angels fought against the dragon;

and the dragon fought and his angels,

 2 ARCHANGEL GABRIEL

Meaning “GOD is my Strength”

Title He is the Chief Messenger

of GOD

Role To deliver God’s message

am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of
God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and

3 ARCHANGEL URIEL
Meaning “GOD is my Light”

Title Angel of Repentance

Role He "stands at the Gate of

Eden with a fiery sword“,
Presides over clamor and terror

4 ARCHANGEL RAPHAEL

Meaning “GOD healed”

Title He’s the Healing Angel

Role His role is to Heal the Saints

Reference Tobias 5: 5-9

Then Tobias going forth, found a beautiful

5 ARCHANGEL SARAQAEL
Meaning Command of GOD

Title He’s the Angel of Service

and Punishment

Role: To Watch over the Saints

Reference: Enoch 20:7-8

Saraqael, one of the holy angels, who is

set over the spirits, who sin in the spirit

6 ARCHANGEL RAGUEL
Meaning: “Friend of GOD”

Title The archangel of Justice,

Fairness, Harmony, Vengeance and
Redemption

Role: To take vengeance on the

world of the luminaries who have
transgressed God's laws

 7 ARCHANGEL REMIEL
Meaning “Thunder of GOD”

Title He’s the Angel of Hope

Role Responsible for Divine

Visions, and he guides the souls of
the faithful into Heaven
