Roleplay Assignment, Social Service Practice Class October 2019
● Collaborated in a team to prepare a roleplay assignment for class; one of the members had a panic
attack on the day of the class presentation because of her extreme fear of talking in public.
● Communicated with the professor to explain the situation and rearranged the group; managed to
perform the roleplay without the student. Provided support to the student by actively listening to
her, validating her feelings, and guiding her through grounding techniques (breathing).
● Created an opportunity for the specific student to be integrated into the roleplay assignment
without having participated in the demonstration itself.
● Completed the assignment successfully and the group received an A, including the student who had
only participated in other sections of the assignment.

● Participated in the Counselling Simulation Facilitation to help first-year students with role pay
assignments.
● Created, organized, and promoted workshops and dialogues, offering them to Sheridan students in
different areas from self-awareness to personal biases and discrimination.

“Colégio Ressurreição Mantiqueira” (Mantiqueira Resurrection School), Tremembé, SP, Brazil
● Organized and promoted a day of oral care guidance for 165 children, who face financial challenges,
assisted by Father Edgar Delben, in association with Colgate and “Instituto Oriente”.
● Collaborated with 3 dentists and 5 dental trainees and resulted in a significant impact on the
children and their families.

Santa Clara Nursing Home’s Singing Day November 2017


Santa Clara Nursing Home, Sao Paulo, Brazil
● Organized and promoted a singing day with the residents of the Santa Clara Nursing Home, in
association with Dante Alighieri School’s Choir.
● This resulted in a great impact on the residents who reported having a wonderful day.
