 OBJECTIVE:
To carry out the verification and integrity assessment of newly added axle to a tank lorry to meet the
requirements of NHA/OGRA and Total Parco.

 SCOPE:
1. Visual assessment of fixings, deformations, wear & tear etc.
2. Functional test of the axle bearings and leaf springs.
3. Magnetic Particle Inspection of welded portions for the identification of cracks.

 INSPECTION SUMMARY:
Complete visual, functional inspection and NDT (MPI) examination was performed to test the integrity of
the above axle and no major deficiency was observed at the time of inspection.
