Established in 2004, UT Quality with has its R&D headquarters located in Edmonton, AB, Canada
with APAC Headquarters steaming from Batam Indonesia. Specializing in advanced Non-

QUALITY SERVICES

UT Quality personnel have accumulated extensive experience and expertise in several industry
sectors, working with various standards and requirements of clients. Application specific
procedures are developed by engineers for all projects to guarantee consistent quality in all
examinations and services performed. Our services are customized to meet all technical, geo-
graphic, environmental, and safety challenges and conditions.

Mobile services are designed with equipment portability in mind. With minimal notification our
technicians are dispatched to the work location. Field computer capabilities allow the technician
to perform on site data analysis, producing site reports prior to leaving the work location. UT
Quality technicians can work as an integral part of your inspection team, working with client
supplied support personnel to further reduce project costs.

UT Quality is  ISO 9001 / DNV-GL / MIGAS / LLOYD REGISTER / AMERICAN BUREAU
OF SHIPPING / BUREAU VERITAS and BIRO KLASIFIKASI INDONESIA (BKI) certified
independent inspection company and the first company out of Australia to acquire NATA (ISO
17025) accreditation for provision of testing services.

TRAINING Training for all UT Quality personnel is part of an
ongoing process that ensures each individual is
qualified for performing their responsibilities to the
highest degree possible. In-house training to specific
procedures is managed with multi-media interactive
software. This approach allows us to efficiently and
effectively train individuals as required. Personnel
skill-set and experience management is key to
developing a highly skilled work force, capable of
operating advanced technologies and delivering
quality services.

UT Quality’s investment in training continues to

grow, most recently with the advanced technologies
center located in Batam Indonesia. The advanced
Technologies Centre is the regional hub for training,
research and development. It also serves as the
regional center for project start-up activities such
as weld procedure qualification, NDT performance
validation, client demonstrations.

The center is located with our sister company’s

welding center, where we mutually benefit from our
permanent presence.
With the latest in available inspection
technologies, UT Quality’s trainee candidates
have unrestricted access to the best
equipment and training techniques.

Locally based mentors with many years of

globally sourced experience and qualifications
are on hand to not only to impart training
and experience but also to provide ongoing
support, review and leadership for our trainees
and tenured technicians alike.

UT Quality offers training and mentorship to our

clients, helping technical and non-technical
people to understand the latest technologies,
how to implement them effectively and how
to mutually support to the overall quality and
efficiency of their projects.
RESEARCH AND Through in-house development and cooperation
DEVELOPMENT with outside industry suppliers, UT Quality delivers
unique technology solutions, comprised of the
“Best Available Technology”. Our technology
hardware is integrated with application specific
procedures, software, and in most cases
mechanized scanners for data acquisition. R&D
is an ongoing business process that drives our
tech-nology based services, designed to deliver
the most cost effective solution along with the
highest degree of accuracy and consistent data
quality.

UT Quality’s proprietary AUT system, the UTScan,

is designed, manufactured and assembled in-
house. Software and hardware components
come together at our head research and
development facility in Edmonton, Canada.

data with the project database systems, giving them the ultimate in ease of managing their data

HISTORY AND UT Quality holds extensive experience in the various
QUALIFICATIONS applications of inspection and testing, which is our
prime service delivery as a global organization.

Throughout our company’s history we have supplied

services for many offshore and onshore pipelines and
facilities projects, giving our customers a premium
service upon which they now depend and expect.

Specific to offshore pipeline inspection, we provide

full-time presence supplying inspection services for
offshore pipeline construction, with ongoing work
inspecting welds for; spooling, J and S lay barges.

During the course of our business we have completed

qualifications for many project owners, including
DNV, PERTAMINA, CHEVRON, TECHNIP & SHELL,
among others.
