WORKSHOP ON BREAKDOWNS AND INSTRUCTIONS

processes of cars.

DESARROLLO
1. Write a list of ten breakdowns.

* Brake failure

* The exhaust system (gerbox)

2. Write the instructions for the following processes:

 How to change a tyre?

1. Find a safe place and edge, avoid curves

4. Place the hydraulic jack under the car, the best place to locate it is the part
of the chassis next to the tire that we are going to change.

5. With the jack well located, we will lift the vehicle until the tire is suspended

in the air a few centimeters

6. The nuts are completely removed

7. We remove the tire to be changed by pulling it forward and put it on the

ground

8. The replacement is positioned in line with the safety pins. We push it slowly

until the bolts stick out

9. We tighten the nuts, that they are well tightened

10. We use the jack again to lower the car, when it is already on the ground we

tighten the nuts with the spanner, turning to the right, pushing down the

spanner

 How to change the fuel filter?

1. Put the car on a flat surface to help us raise it with two hydraulic jacks

2.With the cross-head screwdriver, we release the clamp that holds the fuel

filter and we also release the ones that maintain the fuel circuit

3. remove the filter

4. It is important when removing the filter, pay attention to the arrows that

indicate the direction of the fuel, so that the new filter is in the same way

5. Release the fuel inlet and outlet clamps as indicated previously. In some

cases they bring some quick anchors, before releasing the filter we place

a bucket or container so that the remaining gasoline remains

6. Once this process is done, we keep the rubber that surrounds it to put it on

to the new filter

7. We place the new filter, tighten the inlet clamps and get out of the gasoline

8. Start the car and check that there are no gasoline leaks through the filter.

 How to change the battery?

1. A wrench is needed and if possible gloves to protect the hands

2. We keep the car off for at least 10 minutes to avoid any discharge, with

the wrench will loosen the negative terminal always first then the terminal will

loosen of the positive

4. We finish them by releasing the supports that keep the battery connected

to the car and remove the battery with careful

again
