REFLECTION

1. Share a personal experience or observation on 21st Century teaching and learning being
practiced in your pre-pandemic classroom and presently in the mode of learning during
the pandemic. What life lessons and values have you realized and learned?

Capiz State University is the school where I am studying. It is the best school and also it is near from our
municipality. I know that this school can help me more o develop my skills and ability and also to give
me a good quality of education. The teachers in our school are very dedicated to teach us they let us to
discover new things and to experience something for us to learn. In this pandemic, our teachers use
different gadgets as their tools in teaching. The classes running smoothly but has a good impact to all
learners. I realize that the work become easier when everybody is helping each other. Since, pandemic is
present in our situation right now, education is very much affected. So the CHED implemented whether
it would be modular or online class. Because this is the only way in order to assess the education of
every students. But there some point that this not capable to others. Because of weak internet
connection and not all the students can gain knowledge by their own. This learning instruction that has
been implemented brought stress and difficulties to some students. I learned that learning occurs
effectively through collaboration and teamwork which everybody is allowed to share their knowledge
and skills to their classmates.

2. From among the characteristics of 21st Century teacher enumerated, which of those do
you already possess and what will you do to develop the other characteristics that you
don’t have?

The characteristics that I already possess is inventiveness, has a self-restraint and I love to share my
experiences and ideas to the children. The only thing that I don’t possess is that I am a lazy person
sometimes interms of doing our paper works, going to school and to listen to the discussion.
