At the end of the discussion, the students should be able to:

 Identify the purpose of English language in today’s world.

 Internalize the essence of learning and acquiring the ability to converse

fluently using English language.

 Construct a paragraph using English Language.

III. PROCEDURE

A. Preliminary Activities

 Greetings
 Checking of Attendance
 Review past lesson

B. Motivation

The teacher will present different pictures and allow the students to give their own
interpretation

C. Discussion

The teacher will discuss the purpose of English Language and its importance.

D. Activity

The teacher will show a facebook post using English Language and will ask the
students their thoughts and observations.

 Can we consider the post grammatically correct? Why?

 What verb should be use in the sentence?
 Why do you think it is important to learn English Language?
 E. Analysis

The students will be given jumbled letter to form sentences in grammatical order.

F. Abstraction

The teacher will ask the students what have they learn for today’s discussion.

G. Application

The students will construct a short paragraph using English Language
