shaping and strength of the paper. Its main task is to spread the cloth so that the sheets
are uniformly and quantitatively measured either horizontally or vertically.

Preparation before driving:

1, the headbox parameters to be set, including: lip horizontal opening, vertical opening,
pulp net speed ratio, intake valve opening, the overflow valve opening, return flow,

Open the headbox flushing Note:

1, check whether the bundle of large pieces of hard objects blocked in it.

4, when flushing the balance chamber and floating plate with high-pressure water, do

5, in front of the new machine will be thoroughly cleaned at the bottom of the lower lip,
pay attention to the upper lip in the clean-up, the ban with hard objects encountered, it
is necessary to clean rag dip weak acid.

6, driving, the lip opening can not be too large, depending on the ability of the slurry
pump and network capacity may be. Long time down (4 hours) to stop the thermal
compensation, such as 4 hours or less, hit it manually, set a suitable temperature, the
general 39 ℃ can be.

Headbox Common Problems and Solutions:

1. Streaming: due to foreign matter into the attenuation chamber, blocking the
turbulence generator imports, as well as deformation of the lip scaling caused by
parking to enhance cleaning,

Severe streaming will lead to the emergence of translucent, adjust the method there are
three main points:

(1) pressure lip, the Internet will increase the concentration,

(2) will be pulled forward outlets, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing into the top
pulp thick;

(3) adjust the lip, adjust the dilution water capacity;

2. Internal fouling: the water used in the water quality is too hard, resulting in serious
internal scaling, through the transformation of the internal spray water to use water to
condensate.

3. Spray: When the emergency stop or parking cycle time is too short, causing the entire
system of pulp too much, driving the pump output value too fast caused. In this case, the
output value of the slurry pump in the headbox should be set to manual mode and the
speed should be raised slowly.

4500 paper machine)

Net speed ratio: 0.900 ~ 1.100, commonly used: 1.020, dilution rate: 8 ~ 13%
Commonly used: 10%
