SUPERLATIVE

Christmas is the best holiday of the year in the whole world. During Christmas, we decorate our houses
with ornaments of different colors and figures of Santa Claus. The same thing happens in the city, the
streets are the brightest you have ever seen, and you can also see people walking around the city with
their families, watching the lights. One of the things that I like the most are the Christmas trees; in the
country many people go to see the biggest tree I saw in the city.
Christmas generally lasts two days, one is Christmas Eve, where the whole family gathers at night,
preparing different dishes and desserts that are the most delicious accompanied with warm drinks such as
chocolate. In addition, it is tradition that children fall asleep early to wait for papa noel and receive the
gifts under the tree the next day.
The next day everyone gathers around the tree to open their gifts if they were good, you can always find
very nice gifts. Gifts are the funniest part of these days, but especially the union of the family. That is
why Christmas is the best day to celebrate with the family and spend very happy times.
