By: Laura Ximena Florez Carreño
Public accounting used to be a very important pillar in the objectives of the company, this was previously more essential than now in the economic society, the impact on the accounting society is to maximize your economic income through good administration and control of them. Some people believe that accounting is only a requirement to have a company, before it was important to be able to carry out the activities of a company. The impact of accounting on technology is very important, from the year 1700 onwards, tools have been introduced little by little to the current world to evolve the calculation, for example, before the calculation was done by means of counting stones, now the calculation It can be done through a calculator, now the tool is more important than knowing how to count. The environmental impact of accounting is crucial since many files show it more guilty than before, but now accounting developed "environmental accounting", environmental accounting seeks to reduce the environmental impact of companies by giving an economic value to the disasters that cause the themselves. This has a positive and negative impact, the positive is because companies think before acting against the environment, but the negative is that as damage to nature now has a cost, you only pay and that's it.
