REFLECTION ON PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Designing my own Professional Development Plan is quite challenging. But to accomplish a Professional
Development Plan is quite such a relief too. In the beginning, I was not able to figure out the required competencies needed
to be enhanced, developed and improved for my own professional development. But after a thorough assessment I was
able to come up with the competencies that deserve an immediate attention.

I begin with expanding my teaching methods to address the individual learning styles of my students. Next, is
developing and enhancing my teaching methods and curriculum to address the academic needs of all my students.
Creating a Classroom Management Plan is crucial to hit a target in evolving as an effective Facilitator of the 21 st Century. To
enrol in a graduate work leading to master’s degree is one of the many aspirations I want to attain and would like to be fully-
committed. To get involved in professional educational organizations can be an aid to foster social mentoring with a
common vision.

Establishing significant activities for intervening competencies for my professional growth is a bit confusing and
thought-provoking, whether I’d be required for Trainings, or an Education would be necessary, or just a plain Development
for oneself as an advantage for an easy access for professional learning.

But too many barriers ahead are causing these goals out of reach. Lack of presence in the trainings, deficient
financial assistance, minimal support from the superiors and lack of interest are few of the many potential obstructions in
making my PDP possible. Deciding on the suitable solutions is a bit challenging too. But I bet, I’ve decided on solutions that
can be essential for eliminating barriers.

Now I’m done with my CPD, I’m left overthinking if I can fulfil the tasks needed to develop one professionally. But
with the moral support of the people around us, with the intense desire from oneself and with God’s grace, one can be
victorious in achieving goals in life. One should celebrate life to bloom positively.
