Unit 7 Discussion Board Project

In this Discussion Board/Project Activity, you will reflect on what you

have learned so far in your Rosetta Stone Language Program.
Please follow these steps to complete this assignment:
Step 1:  Create a research video (at least 1 minute in length) on the
social life and leisure time activities of people in a country that
speaks your foreign language. Try to use vocabulary words that you
have learned from Rosetta Stone in your presentation.  Your project
should be in Spanish. Remember if you have to look up a word,
please only look up one word at a time on wordreference.com. Your
sentences should be simple enough for you to be able to write them
in Spanish.
An example of a simple sentence using the present tense is "los
españoles juegan al fútbol con sus amigos."
You may use any digital tool of your choosing to create the video.
Some multi-media video creation tools include:

Board for your classmates to review.  To do so, create a new
discussion thread.  You can provide a link to your presentation if
necessary!

Step 3:  Review at least one other classmate's presentation and

respond to it.  As you are developing your response, think about the
following:
• Were your presentations similar?  Different?  Explain.
• What intrigued you about your classmate's presentation?
• Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
• Can you provide any helpful and constructive feedback to your
classmate?

Unit 8 Discussion Board Project

In this Discussion Board/Project Activity, you will reflect on what you
have learned so far in your Rosetta Stone Language Program.
Please follow these steps to complete this assignment:
Step 1:  Research a country that speaks your foreign language and
that you would like to visit one day. Create a "virtual tour," and, in
complete sentences in your foreign language, describe what you
can see there (e.g.  beaches, artwork, monuments, etc), what you
would wear when you visit, and what the weather is like in that
country.  Be creative and use your imagination!
Remember to use the grammar that you have learned so far. This
includes present tense, the present progressive, the simple future,
direct object pronouns, and the preterite tense. Please do not
google translate, and please be sure to use your own language.
A good example of one slide: "En El Salvador, hay muchas playas
bonitas. Las personas que visitan pueden hacer el surf."
If you prefer, you can make a video virtual tour using any digital tool
of your choosing.  Some multi-media video creation tools include:

Unit 9 Discussion Board Project

In this Discussion Board/Project Activity, you will reflect on what you
have learned so far in your Rosetta Stone Language Program.
Please follow these steps to complete this assignment:
Step 1:  Create a game that will help your classmates to learn the
vocabulary for this unit.  Be sure to provide specific details about
how the game is played in Spanish (e.g.  directions, materials
needed, number of players, etc.) You should use the informal or
formal commands here to give instructions in Spanish.  In your
description, please include specific vocabulary words from the unit
that you would include in the game pieces.  If you are feeling
especially creative, develop a game board and materials and
include them as part of your assignment submission.

Step 2:  Post your game idea in this Discussion Board for your
classmates to review.  Be sure to describe the game in detail!  To
do so, create a new discussion thread.  Upload pictures of any
materials you have created to enhance your post and engage your
classmates.

Step 3:  Review at least one other classmate's game and respond

to it.  As you are developing your response, think about the
following:
• Were your games similar?  Different?  Explain.
• What intrigued you about your classmate's game?
• Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
• Can you provide any helpful and constructive feedback or
ideas to improve the game to your classmate?
