 I’m Lee Ann, the person behind (aka) Oink4PIGTALES.
My degree is in Early Childhood Education and I have 27 years teaching experience
in PreK (5 years), 3rd grade (18 years), and Kindergarten (4 years). I am still a full-
time kindergarten teacher and TpT author.

My passion for teaching began the first day I started school. My parents built me a classroom in the
basement of our home. It was complete with chalk board, desks, and teaching supplies. I started creating
resources at the age of six to “play school”. Little did I know then, this was preparing me for a future of

Phonemic and Phonological Resource!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Print on white card stock the Alphabet 5x 7 cards on white card stock and laminate
for durability. Print Phonics Worksheets and Answer Keys on white copy paper.

IDEAS:
The worksheets are great to help students build vocabulary.
▪ Go over pictures with students and discuss if they know what they know what the
pictures are and are used for in life.
▪ Later in the year you can reuse worksheets and have students use inventive spelling
and write the words under each picture.
▪ Students can label pictures as nouns or verbs.
▪ Discuss words that have multiple meanings. (For example: BUN can mean a piece of
bread, or a hair style.)
▪ These are great to keep on hand for unexpected sick days. Subs will have answer
keys making this an easy to pull activity.

STUDENT DIRECTIONS:
Students will Cut and Paste pictures by short and long vowel sounds and initial sounds
with this sample activity set.
