World Unity
Baha’is believe that all human beings are one family and that the world should be run as if it were one country.
Baha’u’llah said:

“The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens”

Using your notes and some research answer the following questions:

- Write what happens first at a “Feast”, and what happens at the end. Why do you think things are done
this way round?
- What do “junior youth” activities try to get young people to think about?
- In what country did the Báb live, and what happened to Him?
- Who announced Himself as a Messenger of God, with a new religion?
- Which would you think is worst? Being tortured, being imprisoned, or being exiled?
- Where is Bahá’u’lláh’s shrine?
- Give the name of one of Bahá’u’lláh’s books.
- How did Bahá’u’lláh ensure that the Bahá’í Faith did not split up into sects?
- Where is Shoghi Effendi buried?
- What is the name of the Bahá’í world body?
- Why do you think it is called that?
- Suggest an environmental problem which would be easier to solve if there were a world government.
