Austrian Standards Institute herewith submits this Draft of a European Standard as Draft ÖNORM to

This draft European Standard is submitted to CEN members for enquiry. It has been drawn up by the Technical Committee CEN/TC 246.

the secretariat of which is held by UNI.

This document is currently submitted to the CEN Enquiry.

This document will supersede EN 12057:2004.

This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association.

part of this document.

1 Scope

This document specifies requirements for flat modular tiles of natural stone which are made for use as
flooring, stairs, cladding and ceiling finishes. It does not cover mineral aggregates and artificial agglomerated
stone material and does not cover installation.
