HOW TO UPDATE ON BOARD VESSEL PROFILE (SHPX)

C – TIPS
VESSEL PROFILE FILE (SHPX) RECEIVED ON A CD/DVD
A vessel profile file saved on a CD/DVD by the support team should appear as “IMO number.shpx”.

On the CD/DVD that you received, if the shpx is identified as “9317975.zip”, it is a mistake.
 After transferring this file on your PC, don’t unzip it nor open as an archive.
 Change only the extension of the file from ‘ .zip’ to ‘ .shpx’.
