NaviTrak I NaviGamma ® ®

Baker Hughes INTEQ’s NaviTrakâ I NaviGammaâ probe is a

battery-powered collar MWD (Measurement While Drilling) NaviTrak® I NaviGamma®
providing real-time directional & gamma ray measurements in
multiple drilling applications. These include but are not limited to,
Directional and Horizontal Drilling, Open- and Cased-Hole NaviTrak I Navigamma
Sidetrack and Small-Hole Extension. The standard collar MWD with 1 3/4 Sonde
enables directional control of conventional and directional rotary
drilling BHAs (Bottom Hole Assembly) for most demanding
drilling projects. A natural gamma ray enables users to identify 3.0 ft.
(0.9 m)
shale formations and correlation of formation tops. Wellbore
positioning service upgrades are also available through modular Flow Sub
combinations with advanced Drilling & Evaluation (D&E)
steerable systems.

temperature. Powered by a Lithium battery, the MWD tool (5.7 m)
operates within a discrete range of specified flow rates and is to Bottom
of Probe
limited by battery life and the available memory space. The tool
can be configured with either 2" or 1 3/4" probes in a standard
MWD collar and allows the directional sensors to be strategically
placed at the bottom of the assembly. The NaviTrak I NaviGamma
is also scalable in diameter accommodating various Non-Magnetic PDM
Drill Collar ranging from 4 3/4" to 9 1/2". A 3 1/8" collar is also
available with the USMPR for slimhole applications.

For full survey transmissions to surface, a mud pulser with

selectable restrictors enables optimum pulse height while reducing Battery
pressure drop across the tool. The telemetry system continuously
updates the data transmission at adjustable rates.
