Methodology
This online survey was conducted April 8 – 11, 2021, with 800 likely general
election voters. It has a margin of error of ±3.46%. The survey was conducted
using an online survey platform whereby respondents were only able to
participate by unique, secure email invitations. Only one response was allowed
per respondent. This survey was weighted to a likely general election voter
universe.

Floridians Love Publix & Governor DeSantis

The data reinforces that Publix is a Florida institution. Governor Ron DeSantis is not far
behind, posting the highest favorability of all political figures tested, while the
Mainstream media ranks last. DeSantis’ image improves to 62% fav with seniors (65+).

DeSantis receives higher marks than Biden on handling the
pandemic.
On handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor DeSantis outpaces both President Biden and former
President Trump with likely voters. More than 7-in-10 approve of the way Florida’s COVID-19 vaccine
distribution has been handled. DeSantis’ COVID job approval is 67% with seniors, 87% with
Republicans, and 60% with non-partisan voters. On vax distribution, even a majority of Democrats
agree that Florida’s process has been smooth (57%).

Voters approve of a wide swath of DeSantis’ recent actions.

Most voters approve of Governor DeSantis’ recent actions, particularly on the COVID-19 vaccine. On
putting seniors first in line and opening up eligibility to anyone 18+, Governor DeSantis’ approval marks
are above 62% with all key demographics. This includes majorities of Democrats and liberals. Voters also
strongly support the Governor’s decision to keep the economy open throughout the pandemic. After
hearing this list of recent accomplishments, DeSantis’ image improves further to 61% fav / 35% unfav.

voters back DeSantis’ decisions on a variety of other policy issues.

● Likely voters support DeSantis keeping the economy open and give high
marks for Florida’s recent growth and low unemployment rate.
