Canape - Diane and Deviles On Horseback
Prunes soaked 8 30
Chutney 25g 100g
Bacon streaky 8 30
Slices of toast 2 10
Butter 10g 75g
Parsley picked
Method
1. Remove the stones from the prunes taking care not to damage the flesh, then stuff
each with a little chutney
2. Roll one prune in each slice of bacon and place on skewers
3. Grill on both sides until golden brown
4. Remove the rolled prunes from the skewers and place each one on a piece of toast.
5. Serve immediately, very hot garnished with a piece of picked parsley.
Canapa diane
Chicken livers 8 30
Salt and pepper To taste
Brandy 1tsp 1tbsp
Bacon streaky 8 30
Slices of toast 2 10
Butter 10g 75g
Parsley picked
1. Season the livers with milled pepper and salt.
2. Flash fry the livers and flambé with a little brandy
3. Remove from the heat and roll each piece in a rasher of bacon
4. Thread on skewers
5. Brill on each side until golden brown
6. Remove the rolled livers from the skewers and place onto a piece of buttered toast.
7. Serve immediately, very hot garnished with a piece of picked parsley.
