SUBJECT: PASSING OUT CEREMONY OF THE 6TH BATCH OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING

PROGRAMME — REQUEST FOR PATRONAGE
Dear Sir,
Trust this communication finds you in the best of health and spirits.

2. Ref. telephonic message of to-date from your good office (through Mr. Tauqeer) in regard
to the subject mentioned matter.

3. It is intimated that, at present, following services are being rendered under the auspices
of NICE Welfare Society:-

i) NICE Vocational Training Center:

Free of Charge vocational training is being imparted to women so that they
are able to earn their livelihood and manage their families in a respectable and
appropriate manner. They are imparted training in Domestic Tailoring / Dress
Making and Fashion Designing. At the end of 3 months’ training programme,
besides award of Course Completion Certificates, participants of the training, who
exhibit good results during class tests and practical works, are given Sewing
Machines as Gifts so that they may earn their livelihood without any further
spending in this regard. Uptill September, 2019, Five (5) Batches of vocational
training programmes stand passed out successfully. Through these Five Batches,
160 females were trained and more than 50 sewing machines were given to them
to earn their livelihood by doing work at their homes, independently and
honourably. 6th Batch comprising 45 female students took off on 01.10.2019 and
is going to pass-out at the end of this month.
ii) NICE School System for Special Children:
In order to educate and train special children to make them useful citizens,
NICE has started a programme to rehabilitate Special Children so that they are
able to earn their livelihood at par with other family members. By doing so, they
would be able to prove them as useful for their families as other family members
could be. This initiative is at beginning stage as yet.

4. It is worth mentioning here that on the eve of Passing Out of the 3rd Batch of
Vocational Training Programme, H.E. Begum Governor Punjab was the Chief Guest on the
occasion held on 28.03.2019.

5. Keeping in view the dynamic personage and social services of the Hon’ble
Governor Punjab in this field as well, it is humbly requested that:-
i) Permission may very graciously be granted for holding Passing Out Ceremony of
6th Batch of Vocational Training Programme in the Governor’s House (indoor, for
about 150 audience) in the last week of December, 2019 (any day, any time as per
the convenience of the Hon’ble Governor Punjab), Free of Charge, and;
ii) The Hon’ble Governor Punjab may grace the occasion as CHIEF GUEST
alongwith the Hon’ble Begum Governor Punjab for the sake of humanity.

6. It is hoped that you would certainly stand with us for the cause of humanity. Your
patronage would certainly be an honour for us and would encourage us for making even more
concerted efforts in the best interest of humanity.
