Purpose of the study
The main aim of my research study is to analyze the preference of people (of
different age groups on consumption patterns of soft drinks and consumer
awareness regarding the hazards of soft drinks.
Soft drinks are preferred by everyone irrespective of their age groups because
of its brand value and advertisement. Consumers are more aware of their
health nowadays so they are consuming healthier foods. So it is important to
compare the consumers’ preference for soft drinks and their awareness for
the harmful effects of soft drinks.

Objectives of the study


i. To study the preference of the people for soft drinks.
ii. To determine whether the consumers are aware regarding the adverse
effects of soft drinks concerning their health.
iii. To identify the factors that influence the consumer’s consumption of
soft drinks.

Research methodology

a) Research design: - Descriptive design has been selected for my


research.
b) Sampling technique: - convenience sampling technique will be used for
collection of data.
c) Sampling size: - for this study, sampling size of 50 has to be taken into
consideration.
d) Sample area: - the place of data collection will be any two from the
following: Jaipur, Delhi, and Surat.
e) Sample Unit: - 50 respondents with different age groups will be
selected randomly.
