Exercise 1. Find an equation of the tangent plane to the elliptic paraboloid 4x^2+y^2-16z=0 at the
point (2,4,2). (ans. 2x+y-2z-4=0)

An equation of the tangent plane is described as:

Exercise 2. Find symmetric equations of the normal line to the surface 4x^2+y^2-16z=0 at the point

surfaces 3x^2+2y^2+z^2=49 and x^2+y^2-2z^2=10 at the point (3, -3, 2).

(ans. (x-3)/10=(y+3)/14=(z-2)/-3)
