Vermiculture Results

For each 100 kg of organic material processed:

• 180 L of vermiponic liquor [= vermiliquer]

• 89 kg of worm casts
• 8 kg live worms

Vermiponics Results

• Harvest fresh weight of vermiponic grown plants

consistently > 80% of the fresh weight of the control
plants [[all but 2 out of 12 expts]

• Harvest dry weight of vermiponic grown plants reached >
90% of the fresh weight of the control plants.
• Issues with pH of solution, having to buffer downwards
• Using both NFT and pot systems is possible, NFT better
in summer heat.
