Energy Transfer Presentation

Standard:

- The students will be able to explain energy transfers in everyday life.

Task:

Your job will be to select one type of energy out of the nine that we have discussed in class. (Your type of
energy must be approved by Mr. Ernst.) There will be no more than three students per type of energy. It will be
first come first serve.

After selecting a type of energy you will be given one night to think of how you can show an example of an
energy transfer using the type of energy that you selected. You will then give me your idea written down on
paper and I will approve it.

The following day you will come to class prepared to present the energy transfer that you have gotten
approved. Following the presentation you need to be able to explain what occurred during the energy transfer
and also list and explain three ways how energy transfers using the type of energy you presented affect our
everyday lives.

You will be graded on how well prepared you are to present, your presentation of the energy transfer, the
explanation of the energy transfer, and finally on how well you describe how your energy you presented and
how energy transfers involving your type of energy affect our everyday lives.
