Rebecca has always been driven to develop her skills as a lead teacher and has volunteered to take on administrative responsibilities. As the SST Coordinator, member of the AES leadership team, member of the CSI team, lead facilitator of 3-5 PLCs, she eagerly always taking up extra responsibilities. She continued to demonstrate this drive through her tenure at AES, even becoming the Principals designee this year. Rebecca embraces any opportunity for professional development, which makes her an ideal leader. Rebecca has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children. Her ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are both truly superior. She also has excellent written and verbal communication skills with both parents and teachers. Rebecca accomplishes all these tasks with great initiative and with a positive attitude. It's not just her teaching skills that impress me, however. She is a joy to work with because of her positive attitude and ability to never give up on a child.
