It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Rebecca Bykoski for the
position of Assistant Administrator of Instructional Improvement and Academic Coaching
(AAIIAC). Her exemplary performance as a teacher for fourteen years, a BTSA Support
Provider/Coach for six years, and a teacher leader at her site has prepared her for the position
and makes her a viable candidate.

Rebecca conducts instruction using a variety of instructional strategies and resources to

promote student understanding and appreciation of multiple disciplines. She continually strives
to hone her skills by actively participating in professional development trainings at both site and
district levels. She also researches various resources for worthwhile activities and innovative
strategies, and implements them in her classroom. She works collaboratively with colleagues
and administrators and reflects upon her teaching practice to foster student achievement and
success.

Rebecca is a flexible team player and a dedicated worker who goes above and beyond what is
expected of her. She takes on different assignments such as Positive Behavior Intervention and
Supports (PBIS) coordinator, Student Success Team (SST) coordinator, site leadership team
member, spelling bee coordinator, and Safe Schools Ambassadors (SSA) facilitator at her site.
She likewise engages in voluntary work opportunities within the district and the larger Adelanto
community.

Having been awarded “Teacher of the Month” twice by the district board and having had an
extensive professional experience which is now further enriched by her master’s program in
educational administration, Rebecca will be a great benefit to any site she will serve as AAIIAC. I
